I've returned to say something about this journal (below)... I realize that on the surface, I am doing a lot of things wrong in my riding. I also realize that only I know why I really liked this ride.  I don't think I made that very clear in my last journal.  I went to be realizing that the only thing most "outsiders" would see when watching and reading this journal is that I'm not giving enough uberstreichens.  I realize that most riders will look at that and see only that.  What I see in this ride is not what you can actually "see" -- but what value I see in this ride is what only I felt.  What I felt, for the first time, in my life ever, was a really pretty steady connection (relative to my experiences) to and influence on Contigo's back and hind legs.  I bless his heart that he forgives me for my faults.  That he'll come out next week wondering why I'm still feeling bad I ... read more...

Why I Wear FITS

When it comes to barn attire, I have one rule:  Never look like I spent a lot of time standing at the mirror or rolling out the ironing board.
